Information and training day for professionals

First-hand insight into adolescent social behavior

The information and training day is aimed at educational professionals such as teachers, social workers and psychologists.

Basic idea

This workshop is designed for staff working with young people who want to gain in-depth knowledge and firsthand information about drugs, violent behavior, music, and social media trends. The interdisciplinary exchange between GhJ project manager Ilias Schori and educational staff allows for specific questions and areas of focus to be addressed.

To the project manager:

Ilias Schori (28) has worked in various social-pedagogical youth institutions and spent a total of three years in juvenile detention centers and prisons in Switzerland. He can clearly describe what is effective and what is counterproductive in the educational and penal systems working with young people. He can explain in-depth insights into drugs, violence, and behavior among young people on social media.

Implementations

The lessons are always tailored to the needs of the respective groups, and specific topics are emphasized. This is clarified in advance. The workshops typically last half a day and can be conducted with or without a prison tour.
